Rosenthal & Rosenthal Inc., New York, has hired David Flaxman to be general counsel.
He succeeds Stanley P. Pollack, who remains senior executive vice president and a member of the factoring company's executive committee.
Mr. Flaxman has lectured on factoring, asset-based financing, and secured and unsecured lending. He was a partner at Winick & Rich. He is a former president and current member of the executive committee of the Association of Commercial Finance Attorneys.
Previously, he was senior vice president and deputy general counsel of San Francisco-based Crocker National Bank and was on the legal affairs committee of the California Bankers Association.
