Roundup: Chase Manhattan Compliance Chief Retiring

NEW YORK - Chase Manhattan Corp. said compliance officer Michael P. Esposito Jr., 55, will retire June 30.

Mr. Esposito has been with the bank since 1961. He has served in his current role, as chief officer for corporate compliance, control, and administration, since June 1992.

In the past, Mr. Esposito has been the company's chief financial officer, its controller, and head of its accounting and reports division.

Richard J. Boyle, vice chairman and senior loan and investment officer, will assume Mr. Esposito's responsibilities.

Mr. Esposito is director of the New York City Chapter of the Financial Executives Institute and is chairman of the Private Sector Council, Washington.

He is a graduate of Notre Dame University and holds an master's degree in business administration from New York University.
