Roundup: NationsBank to Aid Paralympic Games

ATLANTA - NationsBank said it will give $2 million in cash and services to the 1996 Atlanta Paralympic Games.

The bank will also purchase $10,000 worth of tickets to the Paralympic Games for distribution to students throughout metro Atlanta.

The Paralympic Games are competitions in a variety of sports between qualifying athletes with impairments. The athletes include the blind, paraplegics and quadriplegics, people with cerebral palsy, and amputees.

The sports include archery, track and field, basketball, cycling, equestrian, fencing, judo, power lifting, soccer, shooting, swimming, table tennis, tennis, and volleyball.
