Roundup: Summit Adds 60 Jobs At New Phone Center

Summit Bank, a unit of Princeton, N.J.-based Summit Bancorp, has added 60 jobs at its new customer call center in Bethlehem.

A 24-hour automated telephone system routes customers to the Bethlehem center and to the banking company's already established Dayton, N.J., operation.

In Bethlehem, telephone service representatives answer phones Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Summit said service would soon be extended to 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
