The 125th anniversary celebration of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette's private client services group is truly a family affair.

DLJ's Wood, Struthers & Winthrop unit is holding its birthday dinner this month with its founder's grandson, Robert Winthrop, 92, as the honored guest. The original firm, Robert Winthrop & Co., was founded to manage the estate of Moses Taylor, who built National City Bank - now Citicorp - into a financial powerhouse.
