Kemper Financial Services Inc. has hired Maura J. Murrihy as director
A 16-year veteran of securities analysis, she replaces Gary Langbaum,
Ms. Murrihy will oversee a staff of 23, including 13 equity analysts.
Chicago-based Kemper Financial Services is the adviser for Kemper Corp.
The Cleveland-based bank is projecting steady growth in net interest income even as credit losses remain manageable. But Chairman and CEO Chris Gorman also said that he thinks a recession is likely.
