Short Takes: KeyCorp Promotes Fund Sales Executive

John N. Drahzal has been named national sales manager of KeyCorp's two proprietary mutual fund families, the Cleveland-based banking company said.

Mr. Drahzal, who has worked for KeyCorp since 1988, previously led its efforts to sell proprietary funds through branches. Now he is responsible for selling the funds outside the bank as well.

The fund families-the Key SBSF Funds and the Victory Funds-are being offered through no-transaction fee programs used by financial advisers, mutual fund supermarkets available to individual investors, nonbank brokerages, and 401(k) plans.

Mr. Drahzal reports to Jack L. Kopnisky, group manager of retail brokerage, insurance, and mutual fund distribution at KeyCorp. The bank's Victory Funds and Key SBSF Funds manage about $9 billion of assets.
