Short Takes: OppenheimerFunds Adds N.W. Wholesaler

OppenheimerFunds has added a bank wholesaler for its Northwest territory, bringing its bank wholesaler team to 16.

Sean Reardon, previously a key accounts manager at the New York-based fund company, started in the new position in mid-July, said Elaine Puleo Carter, Oppenheimer's head of bank sales.

As a key account manager, Mr. Reardon dealt with high-ranking executives at five banks, which will be redistributed to other managers, Oppenheimer said. In his new role, he will be responsible for dealing with brokers at a larger number of banks.

Mr. Reardon, who works out of Seattle, has been with Oppenheimer for a year and a half.

Before that he worked as a key account manager at GT Global, which was later absorbed into AIM Management Group.
