Short Takes: Rittenhouse Financial Names Research Chief

Rittenhouse Financial Services Inc., Radnor, Pa., has named a new director of research.

David V. Duncan joins the money management firm from Fuhrman-Matt Securities Inc. in Philadelphia, where he oversaw equity research for a year and a half.

A chartered financial analyst, Mr. Duncan previously worked for 10 years at Meridian Bank, where his last position was vice president and manager of regional commercial lending.

He succeeds Douglas Roman, who left to pursue other interests, the company said.

Rittenhouse Financial manages $6 billion for institutional and individual clients. Individuals are served by its banking affiliate, Rittenhouse Trust Co.
