Son of Respa amendments.

After making technical amendments to the soon-to-be-effective Respa regulations on subordinate liens March 30, HUD has found itself issuing another set of technical amendment clarifications. The latest amendments, which appeared in the July 22 Federal Register, make minor changes to the rule's language in sections 3500.6, special information booklet, and 3500.7, good faith estimates.

The changes will not alter the rule's effective date of Aug. 9. HUD's final rule, which was published Feb. 10, adopted certain definitions and disclosure requirements of Regulation Z, the Truth in Lending Act, to minimize the disclosure burden on lenders.
