SUNBANK/SARASOTA County, Fla., said Christopher R. Narvaez has been named executive vice president and chief financial officer of the to-be-created SunBank/Gulf Coast, effective Feb. 1.
SunBank/Gulf Coast will result from the combination of SunBank/Sarasota, First National Bank of Venice, SunBank/ Charlotte County, and Coast Bank. Consummation of the merger is anticipated in early 1993, pending regulatory approvals.
Mr. Narvaez has been executive vice president responsible for loan administration at SunTrust Mortgage Co., which like the SunBank units is a subsidiary of SunTrust Inc., Atlanta.
