Tech Bytes: Call Center Manager, Lender Service Team Up

AnyTime Access Inc., which provides round-the-clock support for financial institution lending operations, said it has signed a strategic alliance agreement with the international call center company ICT Group.

ICT will add AnyTime Access' application-processing and credit-decision services to its range of "telesolutions" services. Prospective borrowers would be transferred to AnyTime Access loan officers after being screened by ICT Group phone representatives. The application-processing, checks with credit bureaus, loan underwriting, and communication back to the client would all be completed in the single call.

ICT manages 34 call centers for banks, health-care providers, telecommunications companies, and others. AnyTime Access said it serves hundreds of financial institutions with a total of five million consumers.
