Chase Manhattan Corp. has lured three West Coast banking executives to its California-based corporate trust unit.

Cecil Bobey, Nancy J. Mancuso, and Susan M. Minnehan have joined Chemical Trust Co. of California, which sells trustee and escrow services to corporations and municipalities on the West Coast. The unit plans to name a fourth hire next month, bringing its staff to 11, said Francis J. Farrell, vice president and manager.

Mr. Bobey will manage escrow accounts and corporate and municipal debt financing. He most recently was manager of BankAmerica Corp.'s debt administration office.

Both Ms. Mancuso and Ms. Minnehan will be business development officers, selling corporate trust products on the West Coast. Ms. Mancuso was a business development officer at First Interstate Bancorp, which merged with Wells Fargo & Co. last spring, and Ms. Minnehan held a similar post at BankAmerica.
