Hibernia Corp., New Orleans, is installing a sales management and decision support software system from Broadway & Seymour Inc., Charlotte, N.C.
Called Universal Workstation, the software package is designed to tie together bank retail applications systems, improving employees' ability to sell new products and answer customer inquiries.
The new software "will allow us to pass our customers' information around the bank rather than pass customers around," said Keith Martin, senior vice president at Hibernia.
Universal Workstation is made up of software components including Crisp and Millennium Banking, which will be prominent in the Hibernia package.
The Crisp software is for sales management and determining customer profitability. Millennium Banking automates branch and call center activities.
