Intersolv Inc. said it has won a three-year contract to supply its software configuration management systems to Lloyds TSB Group of London.
Lloyds TSB, the United Kingdom's largest financial services group, said it purchased a license of PVCS Version Manager to maximize productivity of its in-house software development projects.
The company said many employees within the Lloyds group, which includes Cheltenham & Gloucester and Lloyds Abbey Life, are already using PVCS Version Manager.
Lloyds TSB software purchasing manager Mike Chambers called PVCS "the best solution to meet our software configuration management needs now and in the future."
Intersolv, a subsidiary of Micro Focus Group, said 96 of the Fortune 100 companies rely on PVCS. Customers include Chrysler, PaineWebber, MCI/Worldcom, and Nike.
