The Chicago Fed Names Head of Accounting Firm As Chairman

The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago has named Lester H. McKeever chairman, succeeding Robert M. Healey.

Mr. McKeever is managing partner and head of the Chicago accounting and consulting firm of Washington, Pittman & McKeever.

Mr. Healey is a member of the the Illinois Labor Relations Board and former president of the Chicago Federation of Labor and Industrial Union Council, AFL-CIO.

Arthur C. Martinez succeeds Mr. McKeever as deputy chairman. Mr. Martinez is chairman and chief executive of Sears, Roebuck and Co.
