The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta Names Executive

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta has named Patrick K. Barron as first vice president and chief operating officer.

Mr. Barron was first vice president of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. In addition, he directed the Fed's planning and coordination of accounting functions and customer access services and was a member of the Fed's Financial Services Management Committee, a group that guides long- term Changes in the Fed's payment services to depository institutions and the U.S. government.

Before joining the San Francisco Fed, Mr. Barron worked for three and a half years at the Atlanta Fed and for six years as senior officer and branch manager of the Atlanta Fed's Miami branch.
