Tillinghast-Towers Perrin hired Kathleen C. McClave from the Washington consulting firm of Furash & Co.
Ms. McClave will be responsible for developing and delivering strategy and management tools to insurance companies, banks, mutual fund companies, and securities firms.
At Furash, Rolland Johannsen succeeded her as president and CEO.
Ms. McClave's departure came a month after founder Edward Furash left the consumer financial consultancy to become chairman of Monument Financial Group, a merchant bank in Alexandria, Va.
While at Furash, Ms. McClave was also the managing director of the Wharton Financial Institutions Center at the University of Pennsylvania. She was also a senior research fellow at the center, which studies performance and risk management in the financial services industry.
