Trio of Executives ot First Data Departing, Including CFO

First Data Corp. said it promoted Ray Winborne to acting chief financial officer, succeeding Pat Shannon, and Kevin Kern to executive vice president of global operations and technology, succeeding Bob DeRodes, amid a trio of pending departures.

The electronic payments processor has been in the red since Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. took it private in a $26.5 billion deal in 2007 that saddled the company with debt. But Fitch Ratings recently said it expects the company's revenue to jump this year amid economic recovery and trends favoring electronic payments.

Winborne joined the company in 2009 and most recently served as controller. Kern joined the same year as senior vice president and chief technology officer.

DeRodes, Shannon and Grace Chen Trent are leaving the company after a transition period, the company said, without disclosing a reason for the departures.
