U.S. Bancorp's move to Idaho upheld.

BOISE, Idaho - U.S. Bancorp said the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit has affirmed the relocation of the bank's charter to Idaho last year.

The June 8 ruling upholds decisions by a U.S. district court and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the company said in a press release. U.S. Bancorp moved into Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, in February 1992; since then its U.S. Bank of Idaho unit has opened additional branches in Boise and Caldwell.
