The on-line listing service said Tuesday that investors, led by Capital Z Financial Services Fund II LP, include GE Capital, Goldman Sachs Group Inc., Marsh & McLennan Capital, and priceline.com.

The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. LendingTree said it will use the capital to increase marketing efforts.

Priceline.com has been offering name-your-price mortgages through LendingTree since February. LendingTree has strategic relationships with priceline.com, Bloomberg.com, AutobyTel, and more than 8,000 affiliated Web sites.
