    I'm surprised this article was accepted for publication. It substitutes invective for objective analysis. A depository institution risks a severe enforcement action if it chooses to bank cannabis businesses and thereby squarely violate anti-money laundering law. Bank regulators do not have a track record of ignoring AML violations.

    This guy is probably just a lawyer looking for new clients. Smoking marijuana is a stupid idea and as indicated by the author is a vice. Vice is a practice, behavior, or habit generally considered immoral, sinful, criminal, rude, taboo, depraved, or degrading in the associated society. I think we have enough of that crap already don't you think.
