Fulton Financial buys wealth management business

Fulton Financial in Lancaster, Pa., has purchased the wealth management business of APS Wealth Management in Camp Hill, Pa.

The $17 billion-asset Fulton said in a press release Tuesday that it completed the purchase in early October. It did not disclose the price.

APS, established in 1994, had about $67 million in assets under management. Fulton has about $11 billion in assets under management or administration through its wealth management division, Fulton Financial Advisors.

“Our purchase of APS Wealth Management is enabling Fulton to enhance our outreach to clients in central Pennsylvania,” Curtis Myers, Fulton's president and chief operating officer, said in the release.
