Affiliated Managers Group Inc. announced it has started a sales, servicing, and distribution platform in Sydney.

Through this platform, AMG plans to offer Australian investors investment products and services across multiple investment styles and asset classes, it said on Wednesday. These products include global and U.S. equities, real estate, currency, and global asset allocation.

The Sydney office is managed by Gregor Rennie, 43, who joined AMG from GMO Australia, where he was head of business development.

AMG is a Boston-based asset management company with equity investments in a group of midsize investment management firms.

Its affiliated investment management firms had $241 billion of assets under management at Dec. 31.
