Axa Equitable Life Insurance Co., a subsidiary of Axa Financial Inc., said Tuesday that it had launched Retirement Strategies, a 401(k) product designed for small to midsize businesses.
Retirement Strategies is a group deferred variable annuity that offers flexibility in plan design and pricing, a broad range of investment options, and record keeping services, the New York company said.
Plan sponsors will be able to choose from more than 80 investment options from some of the best-known fund families and in all major investment categories. Retirement Strategies also offers plan sponsors the ability to customize their plans' investment lineup with company stock and self-directed brokerage accounts. In addition, the product guarantees a minimum return through a guaranteed interest option.
Axa Financial, the U.S. unit of the French insurance giant Axa Group, provides financial protection and wealth management through Axa Equitable Life, Axa Advisors LLC, Alliance Capital Management LP, Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. Inc., Axa Distributors LLC, and the Mony family of companies.
