The Asset Management Fund family of mutual funds has announced its Friday acquisition of about $95.2 million of mutual fund assets from Bank Investment Fund in Boston.
The Massachusetts company is a no-load complex consisting of two mutual fund portfolios, Fund One and Liquidity Fund. Shareholders of the two funds - mostly Massachusetts depository institutions - became shareholders Monday in two Asset Management portfolios with similar investment objectives.
Shay Assets Management Inc. is the Chicago company that manages AMF's six actively managed fixed-income portfolios. At June 30, its funds, assets exceeded $3.7 billion.
