In Brief: Crestwood Adds Exec as Principal

Crestwood Advisors LLC, a Boston wealth management firm, said it has hired Robert G. Ix to be a principal.

Mr. Ix was a vice president and portfolio manager at Loomis Sayles & Co. LLP where he oversaw the investment counseling group's Boston office and co-managed the Loomis Sayles Tax Managed Equity Fund. He was chairman of Loomis' pension committee and, within the investment counseling group, a member of the management, asset allocation, and investment teams. Earlier, he was a portfolio manager at Bank of New York.
