Trade-Ideas LLC, a provider of idea-generation technology and real-time analytics to active investors, has announced an alliance with E-Trade Financial as a media partner and sponsor of Trade-Ideas' free online stock scans and real-time reports.

In an effort to reach the active trader segment, E-Trade is to sponsor the stock research section of www.trade-ideas.com, the San Diego technology company said Thursday. Research from industry watchers like Celent Communications stresses the importance of this segment as the one responsible for nearly 80% of trades at online brokerages, and Trade-Ideas said it continuously delivers equity research to this segment.
