Pershing LLC, a unit of Bank of New York Co., said Monday that it has added five executives to its registered investment adviser business.
The Jersey City company said it hired T.J. Gilsenan, Trent Witthoeft, Sheetal Doshi Brown, Jill Steffes, and Janie Carroll Peruyero to bolster a business started this month to supply products and support to registered investment advisers. Mr. Gilsenan was hired as a director; the others, as vice presidents. He had been the head of Schwab Institutional’s separately managed accounts business and brought Ms. Brown and Ms. Steffes with him.
Mr. Witthoeft is to be a technology sales specialist. He was a senior relationship manager at Advent Software Inc. Ms. Brown is to develop business and manage customer relationships in the Southeast. She was a business development officer at Schwab.
Ms. Steffes is to be responsible for leading research and project management. At Schwab she was a divisional project manager in institutional sales. Ms. Peruyero is to oversee strategic marketing. She led client acquisition marketing in JPMorgan Chase’s high-net-worth business.
