Bill Koleszar

Bill Koleszar currently serves as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Wealth Management & Commercial Banking for BBVA Compass, one of the 20 largest banks in the U.S.† In this role, Koleszar leads a team that is responsible for conceiving of, developing, and executing marketing initiatives targeted to high net worth individuals and C-suite executives across the bankís foorprint.

Prior to joining BBVA Compass, Koleszar served as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Wealth Management at RBS Citizens, where he also served on the bankís strategic planning committee. Prior to RBS Citizens, Koleszar was Chief Marketing Officer for Vesdia Corporation, a venture-backed technology company that was acquired by a private equity firm at a significant return on investment to investors. Prior to joining Vesdia, Koleszar held progressive marketing and management positions with SunTrust and Bank of America.

His ground-breaking research in the field of marketing strategy has been featured in various business publications, including the prestigious Developments in Marketing Science, published by the Academy of Marketing Science, Enhancing Knowledge Development in Marketing, published by the American Marketing Association and The Chief Marketing Officer Journal, jointly published by The CMO Institute and the American Marketing Association.† Additionally, Koleszar has been interviewed and/or quoted as a subject matter expert by dozens of print and broadcast media outlets including The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Money Magazine, Kiplingerís, The Washington Post, National Public Radio, and The CBS Evening News.

Koleszar holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management from Florida State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. He has also completed pre-doctoral work in Marketing Strategy at Georgia State University and Executive Education courses in Leadership, Strategy, and Service Excellence at Harvard Business School.
