Jim Travis

Jim is the Treasurer for the Lower Colorado River Authority.� LCRA provides public power, manages the lower Colorado River and builds and operates transmission infrastructure across the state. Jim oversees the organization’s treasury, financing, debt management, capital planning and commodity risk oversight activities.�� During his career at LCRA he has also directed the accounting and financial planning functions.� Prior to joining LCRA, Jim held various financial positions at Tenneco Inc., an international energy and manufacturing company.�Jim graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors in Accounting and earned a Master of Business Administration from University of Texas at Austin.� Jim is a certified public accountant.
