$10,000 Sweepstakes Highlights Michigan CUs’ New Ad Campaign

LANSING, Mich. – Michigan credit unions kicked off a $3.3 million media campaign this morning that features TV and radio spots, social media initiatives and a chance to win a $10,000 prize.

The campaign, organized by the Michigan CU League, includes a new CU Link website guiding consumers to credit unions they are eligible to join, Facebook and Twitter pages, and an “Own Your Own Money” sweepstakes that will award $20,000 in prizes, including a $10,000 cash grand prize. The sweepstakes is designed to create excitement about winning a prize to gain consumers’ and members’ attention for credit unions.

A radio spot promoting the sweepstakes will run from May 28 to June 24. More than a thousand instant prizes worth $20,000 will be awarded during the 45-day period.
