TUCSON, Ariz. – Meriwest CU said yesterday that the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco awarded a $250,000 grant to an affordable housing project it is sponsoring in this community. The Old Pueblo Community Foundation will use the funds to purchase the Glenn Street Apartments which will serve as transitional housing for homeless men. Meriwest, as member of the FHLB, sponsored Old Pueblo’s application for the grant.
