Amarillo Community Federal Credit Union named Scott Rose as its new president and CEO of the organization.
Rose, who will start Feb. 18, has worked in the credit union industry for more than 25 years, working as a consultant, speaking at conferences and leading other credit unions in Texas. He has assisted financial institutions with leadership strategies through the firm he founded, Ruddered for Success.

Rose will help the $227 million-asset Amarillo “to bring their members the best financial products and services available in a caring, professional way,” according to a press release earlier this week.
“Rose is recognized in the industry for his expertise in team building, innovative marketing, and strategic vision,” the press release said.
Amarillo earned $890,990 through September, a 30 percent increase year-over-year.
Credit Union Resources conducted the executive search for Amarillo.
