INDIANAPOLIS – A man who robbed a Teachers CU branch at gunpoint last year was sentenced to 130 months in federal prison yesterday.

Leon Fuller, 24, pleaded guilty to armed bank robbery and brandishing a firearm in connection with the Feb. 24 robbery.

During the robbery, Fuller walked into the credit union and approached a member, brandishing a gun and forcing her to walk with him to the teller counter. After obtaining cash from the teller, he fled on foot.

Fuller was arrested within hours of the robbery with a large amount of cash in his coat pocket. Another $4,528 from the credit union was found by officers during a search of his apartment.
