Armed Robbers Make Off With $100,000 from Navy FCU

SAN DIEGO – Two masked gunmen order employees and members of Navy FCU to the floor Wednesday afternoon and made off with as much as $100,000. The robbers entered the branch around 2:45 with their guns drawn and smashed several surveillance cameras before grabbing piles of cash and escaping, police said. No one was injured in the robbery, apparently one of the biggest credit union heist in recent years.
