RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif.-The name of a website rolled out by CO-OP Financial Services sums up the campaign materials it is now offering crdit unions: BanksDontLikeYou.com. The humorous ads CO-OP has created urge consumers dissatisfied with the service at their banks to switch to credit unions and use the tag line "Banks Don't Like You. Credit Unions Do."
Print ads for the campaign include"Banks Said the Glass Was Half-Empty, Then Drank It," and "Banks Ignored Your Friend Request." The campaign's Twitter page also tweeted messages that included, "Banks Switched Your Coffee With Decaf," "Banks Sent Your Call to Voicemail," "Banks Stole Your Parking Spot, and "Banks Tried to Use the Hot Water While You Were in the Shower."
The ads target people 21 to 34 and appeared in variety of print media.
