MANCHESTER, N.H. – Bellwether Community CU has introduced CheckDeposit24, a service that allows members to deposit checks remotely in less than three minutes from their home or office.
By using CheckDeposit24, members can make check deposits twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week – eliminating trips to a branch.
The credit union plans to launch a smartphone application to augment the service in the next few months.
The Cleveland-based bank is projecting steady growth in net interest income even as credit losses remain manageable. But Chairman and CEO Chris Gorman also said that he thinks a recession is likely.
