Branch Manager Sentenced To Probation In $152,000 Theft

SALT LAKE CITY – A former branch manager at Intermountain CU on Monday was sentenced to 36 months probation and six months home confinement for stealing $152,000 from the credit union.

Carrie Zenger, 46, pleaded guilty to one count of embezzlement and also was ordered to pay restitution. Most of that restitution will go to CUMIS Insurance, which covered the loss for the credit union. Intermountain CU merged with America First CU in 2008.

Zenger took the funds between January 2007 and October 2008 while working at the credit union.
