Bronco FCU’s CEO Bob Petty Retires

FRANKLIN, Va. – Bronco FCU announced the retirement of Bob Petty, longtime president and CEO of the $200 million credit union.

Petty served the credit union for the past 27 years, the past 13 years as CEO.

Under Petty’s leadership, first as a manager, then a board member, and lastly as CEO, assets grew from $13.3 million to $201 million and membership increased from 3,650 to more than 20,000. Petty served on the board of the Virginia CU League and of Virginia Corporate FCU, as well as the Credit Unions Care Foundation of Virginia.
