CO-OP Network To Cut POSFees

ONTARIO, Calif. - (10/05/04) -- The CO-OP Network said it hasreduced point-of-sale fees for the 1,742 credit unions using itsnetwork by $600,000 a month, or about $7.4 million a year. Thedecrease will be for use of the network's PIN-based POStransactions CO-OP is the largest credit union-owned electronicfunds transfer network in the country with 19,000 ATMs and 19million cardholders.
