Credit Unions Seeking Sponsors, RunnersFor Texas Twister

AUSTIN, Texas - (08/19/04) Credit unions across Texas are gearingup to host the 1st annual Credit Union Texas Twister 10K Run/Walkand kids 1K fun run here. The run, benefiting Children’sMiracle Network (CMN) and Texas children’s hospitals, will beheld October 30. Sponsors of the race said the Credit Union TexasTwister is the first ever “sister run” toWashington’s Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10-Mile Run. Creditunions became the title sponsor of the Cherry Blossom Run in 2002,and in 2004 raised $325,000.
