MSU Federal Credit Union has been awarded "The Principal 10 Best Companies for Employee Financial Security 2003 Award."
The program recognizes companies that excel, particularly through employee benefits, at contributing to their employees' financial futures and sense of security.
"The program celebrates businesses' management, selection and commitment to employee and financial benefits," said the sponsor of the award, The Principal Financial Group.
MSU FCU, which serves Michigan State University, was recognized for providing its 260 employees with 100% employer-paid medical insurance premiums for retirees, employees and dependents; 100% paid hospital coverage, and a 401(k) match of 200% up to 5% of pay. MSU FCU also pays 100% of long-term disability claims.
