PHOENIX – Desert Schools FCU continues to expand its presence in Wal-Mart stores with plans to open two more in-store branches on August 18. The Saturday openings in the suburbs of Buckeye and Gilbert will be celebrated with giveaways, live music and crafts. The $3 billion credit union operates 25 branches in Wal-Mart, the most of any credit union, and plans to open two more in-store branches by year-end. Tentative plans call for another Wal-Mart branch for 2008.
