NEWTON, Kansas–When management of the $3.9-million Chisholm Trail FCU opened the doors here Wednesday morning they discovered robbers had visited overnight. The credit union reported that its safe had not been opened, but it was still inventorying other items to see what else might have been taken. The burglar or burglars pried open a door, causing an estimated $400 in damages. Local police said they have no suspects at this time.
