MILWAUKEE, Wis.–Two alert witnesses helped police nab a robber before he could get far.
Police said a 62-year-old man, whose name was not released, robbed a Credit Union Service Center here at 10 a.m. after showing a gun. He left the scene in a small, dark vehicle, according to police. Two eyewitnesses who followed the suspect provided information to police that led to an arrest of the man just a few miles away in the parking lot of the Southridge Mall. Police said the money and the gun were recovered.
