OMAHA, Neb. – A 31-year-old local man was sentenced to 100 months in prison for five armed robberies, including last January’s holdup at Telco CU in nearby Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Jason McCain confessed to three of the heists.
Investigators had said they found nearly $25,000 from one of the banks in McCain’s car after he was arrested following a chase.
The top five banks and thrifts have combined total assets of nearly $13 trillion.
