Founder Of Associated School Employees CU Passes

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – G. Howard Shreve, one of the founders of $150-million Associated School Employees CU and who served on its board for 52 years, passed away Monday at 86.

Shreve was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in World War II in the Pacific Theatre on the Landing Craft Medium LSM 376. He also served in the Navy during the Korean War.

He retired as a school psychologist from the Austintown School System after 35 years. He also taught evening classes at Youngstown State University for a number of years.
