From Teller Line To CEO’s Office At Michigan’s North Central Area CU

HOUGHTON LAKE, Mich. – North Central Area CU said it has appointed Jacci Pothoof, who started working at the credit union 25 years ago as a part-time teller, as president and CEO of the $75 million institution.

Pothoof said she has two main goals as CEO: to create student branches in Houghton Lake, Roscommon and Grayling, and boosting employee education by assisting employees to take an online course or attend training workshops.

The credit union already has a tuition reimbursement program, but Pothoof wants to improve cross training among employees.
