Golden 1 CU Raises $10,000 To Support Women’s Health

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Employees of The Golden 1 Credit Union raised more than $10,000 during February and March for the American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women” movement, which supports women’s health.

Golden 1 branches in the Sacramento area sold paper hearts to benefit the Go Red movement, the credit union said. About 100 employees and their family members participated in the 2011 Go Red for Women run in William Land Park on April 2.

Members were invited to donate to the cause as well, and received a red dress lapel pin for donations of $10 or more.
